Mirinae Community
Mirinae has established and provides a website and mobile application service as a useful learning tool for Korean language learners around the world.
Mirinae Community is an extension to the Mirinae products and services that provides a space where the Korean learning students with shared interests and goals can connect with others, ask questions, and share knowledge in their personal and professional pursuits.
Mirinae Community Rules exist to ensure that everyone can freely and safely participate in public conversations.
Mirinae Community Rules
In order to meet the goals of this community, it’s important for users to feel they are in a safe place where all users are respected. As such, we highly recommend that you read and require that you adhere to the guidelines that follow.
YOUR POSTED COMMENTS AND REPLIES MUST NOT CONTAIN:
- Copyright or intellectual property violations
- Illegal activity
- Any harassing or hateful content, including racism, discrimination, hate speech, bullying, or targeted attacks
- Impersonation other users
- Spam or scams
- Sexual content or nudity
- Any expressions of violent conduct: extreme violence, graphic violence, threats, gore, obscenities
- Content that would harm others or be malicious
- Sharing of private information (a.k.a doxing)
- Any promotion of, or links to, other products/services without disclosing any relationship with the product or service
User Rules
- Using a real name is not mandatory, but impersonating another person or entity in a misleading or deceptive manner is prohibited.
- All users, including guest account users, can view all posted comments and replies.
- Only users that are logged into a Mirinae account can post comments or replies, vote on posts or report potentially unacceptable posts.
- Users can only edit or delete their own posts.
- Users can only up-vote or down-vote other users’ posts, not their own.
- Users must not post any comment or reply containing any of the prohibited content listed above.
Post Reporting Rules
- Logged-in users may report a post if they consider it contains objectionable or misleading or prohibited content.
- If a post or comment is reported by more than 3 different users, it may be removed from the comment boards by Mirinae admins.
- Mirinae may ignore reports that it determines are false or irrelevant in considering whether to remove a reported post.
- Mirinae reserves the right to immediately remove a post that it considers unacceptable and detrimental to community safety and well-being, whether or not it has been reported by other users.
Blocked Accounts Rules
- If an account receives bona-fide reports from 9 or more different users, it may be considered a bad account.
- A bad account can be blocked by the administrator after review.
- A blocked account cannot post comments or replies, vote on or report other users’ posts, but can still use the other services such as Explorer and Lessons.
- A blocked user may appeal this decision by contacting team@mirinae.io.
