Are you used to working out at the gym?

For those who aren’t, Koreans have coined a cute nickname 🐥

In today’s post, let’s find out how Koreans say “gym newbie”!

✔️헬린이 is a shortened word combination of the words ‘스 (Gym)’ and ‘어린이 (Child)’ which means ‘gym newbie’ or ‘beginner at the gym’.

It is usually used to refer to beginners in weight training. The opposite term is ‘헬창 (Gym rat)’.
