[Grammar] #4 -을/를

The particles -을 and -를 can be attached to nouns or noun phrases to mark them as the objects in a verb phrase or a sentence.


A: 무엇 좋아해요? What do you like?


B: 커피 좋아해요. I like coffee.

1. -을

: Nouns ending in a consonant


많이 마셔요. (물 + -을)

I drink lots of water.

음악 들었어요. (음악 + -을)

I listened to music.

무엇 좋아해요? (무엇 + -을)

What do you like?


2. -를

: Nouns ending in a vowel


피자 좋아해요. (피자 + -를)

I love pizza.

레몬에이드 주문했어요. (레몬에이드 + -를)

I orderend lemonade.

아침에 바나나 먹어요. (바나나 + -를)

I eat a banana in the morning.


1. Pick the correct variant.

00:15 — “너를 위해 구웠지” means “I baked it for you”

01:00 — “꽃가루를 날려” means “Blow away the pollen”
