냉면 is a noodle made from wheat or buckwheat. It is especially popular in summer because of its coldness 🧊

In today’s post, let’s learn two expressions about how Koreans call “냉면”!

✔️물냉 is short for ‘물 (Water) 냉면 (Cold buckwheat noodles)’ which means ‘cold buckwheat noodles’.

✔️비냉 is short for ‘비빔 (Mix) 냉면 (Cold buckwheat noodles)’ which means ‘spicy buckwheat noodles’.

Cold buckwheat noodle (물냉) is known for its cool broth, which is idealized to blow away the heat.

On the other hand, spicy buckwheat noodles (비냉) is known for its spicy and sweet sauce, with a chewy texture.
