[Korean Slang] #24 과몰입(Be overly immersed)

Welcome to Wikinae’s Korean Slang #24

Have you ever immersed deeply into dramas or movies?

In today’s post, let’s find out how Koreans say “overly immersed in something”!

✔️과몰입 is a word combination of ‘– (A prefix used to mean “to be excessive”)’ and ‘몰입 (Immersion)’ which means ‘to lose oneself in something’ or ‘be overly immersed in something’.

This term is used to refer to people who get deeply immersed into a story or universe of a content (such as dramas, movies, animations, K-POP, etc).
